P1 Unit 3 Business
The first company I choose was Bunge limited. It was founded in 1818 by Johann Peter in Amsterdam. It was later moved by Edouard Bounge to Antwerp in 1859. In 2008 Bunge limited acquired Walter Rau, a company. In 2012 it came under pressure from getting its sugar cane stock from the ancestral land of the Guaraní people. Through its three businesses—agribusiness, fertilizer, and food productsIn the stock market it is doing okay in far as volume and dividend but its price has dropped by .89%. Bunge got popular when it got on the New York stock exchange in 2001.
