P4 recommend a computer system for Tooting Films.

Awais Khan

Processors

I have chosen to recommend Intel Core i7 4770K
3.50GHz processor for the tooting films gaming set up. This would offer superior performance over the previous generation processors. It would also boost results in performance, improvements in multi-tasking, encoding, gaming and multithreaded applications. As well as an improved PCI-Lane 3.0 bandwidth which helps further boost performance of latest generation 3 graphics cards.
The price for this processor is £254.90 inc. Vat this is bought from E.buyer.com

Motherboard

I have chosen Asrock Z97 Pro4 Socket
1150 VGA DVI HDMI 7.1 Channel Audio
ATX Motherboard as my motherboard for tooting films. This is because it supports 5th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 which means it is compatible with my i7 processor. This also has a maximum capacity of 32gb for its memory which is ideal for my video editing pc.
The price for this motherboard is
£86.80 inc. vat from ebuyer.com

Power supply

The power supply I have chosen is
EVGA Supernova 750W Fully Modular
80+ Gold Power Supply. This is a good power supply as it wastes less power, and generate less heat all of which contribute to less fan noise. As the power supply has an efficiency rating of 80+ percent provides 80 percent of its rated wattage as power to the system, while losing the other 20 percent as heat. The price for the power supply £11.48 inc. vat from ebuyer.com Fan

The fan I have chosen is Gelid
Solutions Wing 14 UV Blue 140mm
High Performance Case Fan. The fan is
UV reactive, ultra-quiet, dust and waterproof. To add to the silence, fan mounts replace traditional screws and are made of high quality, ultra-soft silicone which stop vibrations from the fan motor from travelling into your PC case. The price for the fan is
£11.48 inc. vat from ebuyer.com

Ram
• The ram I have chosen is Corsair 16GB
DDR3 1866MHz. This is because it has 2 8gb of memory combined to make 32 gb all

It has integrated graphics in the processor and runs at a similar speed as the AMD FX-4350. As Dave James said in his review of these processors, “… It [AMD FX-4350] happily outstrips the Ivy Bridge i3 in terms of multi-threaded goodness and it can be pushed up to speeds that beat gaming terms. The Core i3 is locked so it has no OC [Overclocking] love to give,…

The processor (CPU) is like the brain of a computer, the thing that carries out the tasks you give it. Better CPUs can perform more tasks at once, and perform them faster. Not everyone takes full advantage of their processor's full speed, so the high-end processers are only really needed if you're performing intensive things like gaming or video editing. It's also one of the most expensive parts of a computer, so if you aren't doing these types of things, you don't need to buy the latest and greatest.…

My recommendations for Sarah’s Flower Designs would include a workstation, a personal digital assistant, and a solid state storage device or compact disk (CD) recordable drive. I would consider updating their current computer system into a small workstation. According to Axia College Week One reading Computer Hardware Technologies (2008), “Computer companies design workstations for a specific purpose, such as developing architectural blueprints or processing DNA” (p. 54). This workstation will be specifically designed to handle all the financial duties, client information, and order histories. In order to do this, I recommend upgrading the hard drive and the central processing unit (CPU). This would allow the new computer to accommodate all the information that they need to store and have enough processor speed to run all of the needed programs. I would also suggest using a solid state storage device or CD recordable (CD-R) drive to help store records and provide a way to backup important business files. In order to help Kim keep track the addresses and delivery instructions, I would recommend using a hand held computer or a personal digital assistant. This would be an excellent way to keep track of the many addresses and delivery instructions that they may encounter.…
