Imagine the number of different individuals encountered in one’s lifetime; thenceforth, consider the heterogeneous personality traits of each. Some individuals may be recalled because of an out-going, vibrant, laid-back, happy go lucky personality style and another may be notably remembered because of exhibiting awkward temperaments and unusual dispositions of paranoia and obsessive suspiciousness.…

I would tell the members of the Senate that mental health is just as important as physical health. Health professionals say that there is a solid link between the mental health and physical health. The health and illnesses are not just related to biological issues, but is a combination of biological issues, social conditions, and behavioral factors. If we want our society to deal with all of the health issues that they may face, we need to bring a health care policy that takes into consideration of all these things.…

Using principles in critical thinking when it comes to sexual decision is very important. I grew up in a house hold where my parents had only been with each other, and they have been together since they were 13 years of age. Growing up this is what I always went by. You have to use critical thinking when it comes to these types of decisions because you do not know want to make a choice that will haunt you for the rest of your life, you want to have a clear mind about it looking back and knowing you did not make a mistake. When I met my husband, there were a lot of things we talked about before we had sex, the history of our past, the precautions we were going to take and what would happen next. I want to know that if we were going to be getting intimate with each other I wanted it to last, because we was not married. Using critical thinking and these steps that people use may seems little ridiculous to a lot of people, but there are so many diseases, such as STDs and so many things that sex links to. I think that if you are using critical thinking then you will not make any type of mistake when it comes to sex. In these days and time they do not think about what they are doing and that is why so many young people have STD, AIDS and/or are pregnant. I believe that children should be raised to use their critical thinking when it comes to a life changing event, such as sex. It is something that could change your life completely, more then what anyone else thinks. You want to know that you are making the right decisions when you about thinking about having sex for the first time, or even having sex with a new…

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you all did well on the midterm exam we had last week. This course has been a very interesting challenge to tackle so far, and the assigned readings for Week Five were no exception. We learned through the assigned chapters and article on Professor Elizabeth Loftus that memory, an aspect of every individual which many believe as infallible, is actually fallible. In fact, the memory of a human being can be manipulated or limited, either intentionally or unintentionally, through various ways. This can cause problems as small as a family disagreement, remembering you were somewhere you never were, or even a failure to accurately recall a special event; however, it can also affect the reputation and sometimes…

One of my primary take from this class is the importance of self-awareness and the impact that it has on our day –to-day life in which we so often deal with relationships. The course has made me aware of my weakness, while also giving me the tools need to enhance my strength as a person, and more importantly as a effective communicator. The group project helped me to realize weakness that I was not aware. It has made me aware of my weakness every time I had to submit a paper, which was the most difficult task for me. I began questioning myself because; I expected a high quality of work. However, being aware has leaded me to focus more on my writing skills which is also a very important part of being an effective communicator, especially in the business world.…

INTRODUCTION When an individual enters the presence of others, they commonly seek to acquire information about him or to bring into play information about him already possessed. They will be interested in his general socio-economic status, his conception of self, his attitude toward them, his competence, his trustworthiness, etc. Although some of this information seems to be sought almost as an end in itself, there are usually quite practical reasons for acquiring it. Information about the individual helps to define the situation, enabling others to know in advance what he will expect of them and what they…

I learned in more depth the type of person I am and what I am characterized according to the Myers Briggs Test Indictor as ‘The Executive”. Overall, my personality as being extroverted thinking with introverted intuition does sound like the person I am.
