Discover Life Program
I Bharat Sathyaseelan of LE3 undergraduate program, majoring in Marketing and Advertisement would like to enroll myself for the Discover Life Program. The topic being in the field of psychology aims to study the human behavior in informal groups within formal organizations.
Also in the process I would like to be mentored by Mr.Kiran Thakur along with Prof.Sonam Mansukhani. It is to be noted that the field work will be held with members of FLAME community between 20th November and 27th November.
I hereby declare that I will undertake the project with utmost sincerity and will complete the same and submit the report along with the findings latest by January 20th, 2015.

Research Question:
1. What are the functions of informal groups in formal organizations?
2. What kind of interactions occur within these groups?
3. How do the interactions within informal groups impact member’s perception and attitudes of different phenomena?
Aims & Objectives:
To understand the dynamics of informal groups in formal organization in terms of:
1. The functions of these groups.
2. The pattern of interactions within them.
3. The impact of these interactions on member’s perception and attitudes towards different phenomena.
Unit of Study:
Non probability sampling of faculty in educational organization of FLAME
Methodology:
1. Questionnaires ( via Judgmental , Accidental & Snowball methodology )

Close ended questions open ended questions
