Paper On Celebrity Culture

In the modern life, media always play a significant role in affecting the culture and society behavior. Because of its extensive network, every content which was performed on media, have a significant effect on the popular culture. Also, the social network is diverse, despite the national news and show, media also show music show, entertaining show, and even celebrities daily life. So, what people want to see the most on media and news? According to "Celebrity Culture", Howard Altman claim that celebrities are the most thing that people would pay attention. As a result, media and newspaper focus more on celebrities activities to meet the audiences want. Therefore, stars are critical in the society not only because they are famous, but they can also affect to people mind, their interested and even the culture.

However, after doing the research, I learned more information and found more keywords to expand the sources. I have a good background information for the research paper in my head and a half way of the outline.

As I said earlier, some resources that I use are old because showbiz and celebrities have changed rapidly. I have good research about celebrity culture, an excellent study about people interest and media behavior. I believe the last thing need to find recent news to analyze and more statistic. I plan to do a study about Kim Kardashian because I believe she will be a good example for the famous trick, getting people attention, and beauty culture effect.
