World Hunger must come to a end, and the charity Feed the Children is the only way that is going to happen. Feed the Children has been around every since the 1980’s. Feed the Children is an organization that exists to end childhood hunger. It is outrageous that children are left hungry and thirsty at night while Americans are going to bed full and not thirsty. There are many ways to stop world hunger around the world. We can donate, volunteer and fundraise to help Feed the Children. First, we must understand the background and how Feed the Children came to be.

Feed The Children provides short-term emergency relief as well as working toward long-term improvements in quality of life.Feed The Children grew out of an Oklahoma City-based Christian organization called Larry Jones International Ministries. Jones has been a minister since 1964, and over the years he has become a well known person of religious television programs. The inspiration for Feed the Children came in January 1979, when Larry was in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to talk at a church. While Larry was walking back to his hotel, a small boy named Jerry approached him, his arm held out , and asked him a nickel. Larry gave it to him, then wanted to ask what he needed it for. The boy said that the nickel would buy him a roll to eat, and another three cents would let him buy butter to put on the roll. Larry then asked what it would cost for a Coke to wash it down, and gave the boy 20 cents for everything. When he found out that this
