Paramus And Thisbe Romeo And Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare’s most famous well known play involving both love and tragedy. However, his play was inspired by a poem written by Ovid called, Paramus and Thisbe. Like Romeo and Juliet, Ovid’s poem, Paramus and Thisbe, involve love and tragedy. The poem is the first Romeo and Juliet that was created Shakespeare just remade it with some of his own work. Although, most of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is very like Ovid’s poem Paramus and Thisbe. In the beginning of Romeo and Juliet the two lovers never met each other.
