During Act 4, Friar Lawrence gives advice to Romeo telling him to slow down with
Juliet. He states they are rushing things considering they just met each other.
When Juliet is trying to get back together with Romeo, she goes to Friar Lawrence for help. He gets her to take the poison to make her go to sleep and have Romeo come back to get her. In Act 3, Friar Lawrence says to Romeo how he is being ungrateful. He explains how he should be more thankful. Therefore, Friar
Lawrence is always willing to give advice to Romeo and Juliet.
Friar Lawrence always offered and helped Romeo with whatever he needed help with. After Romeo killed Tybalt, he was banished. Friar Lawrence helps
Romeo get back to see Juliet even after he is banished. When it isn’t possible for
Romeo to be with Juliet with the families knowing, he goes to Friar Lawrence for help. Friar Lawrence plans a way for the two of them to run away together without the family knowing. Friar Lawrence helps try to end the family feud with the secret marriage or Romeo and Juliet. This would allow them both to be together with the families permission. As a result, Romeo received all the help he could ask for from Friar Lawrence.
In addition, Friar Lawrence also offers to help Juliet with her problems. The
Friar gives Juliet a poison that puts her into a deep sleep to fool her family. He does this to help Romeo and Juliet get back together despite the family. When she is forced to
