The deffiniton of attachment involves the infant feeling pleasure and comfort with the caregiver is around. Attachment affects the behavior, social life, romantic relationship, and many more elements within the individual. However, this doesn’t mean if you grew up without having a secure attachment this does not mean you will only be able to have poor behavior, social life and romantic relationships. An individual can improve on those areas; however, it may be a little more difficult. Also, secure attachment does not mean you cannot allow the infant to cry a little bit and it will become an avoidant attachment.
