You may have fallen in love with your Persian cat's long, lustrous fur, but remember that cats with long hair can become too warm during the summer, just like you would feel warm when wearing a fur coat. Persian cats are also more prone to hairballs than short-haired cats, and a short cut can help minimize this potentially dangerous problem. Persian Kitten Clip

Your cat does not have to be a kitten to get a Persian kitten clip, because this style is named a "kitten clip", because it often makes adult Persian cats look like kittens in appearance. This cut is very simple, and it involves clipping kitty's fur all-one-length at about one-inch long.

This cut is easy to maintain and may be best for cats that are prone to hairballs. Unlike with the lion cut, no hair is kept long, so no long hair can be swallowed while kitty is grooming herself. Of course she may still swallow a bit of her new shorter hair, but 10 short hairs swallowed leads to less hair in kitty's belly than 10 very long hairs.

No matter what hairstyle you choose to keep your Persian cat cool this summer, remember to brush her every day to eliminate tangles that can quickly lead to matting. Also, ask the groomer to clean her tear ducts and ears and then clean them yourself on a regular basis to keep your cat beautiful and

The first feature of Persian society was hunting, which the Persians were quite skilled in and greatly enjoyed. Not familiar with dog hunting because they thought them impure, they instead trained birds and wild beast to hunt. The Persians were well experienced with training birds of prey to hunt. “All the Nobles also keep several for Hunting, to which the Persians are inclin’d from their Youth, and even several of the common People” (179). The Persians would carry these birds while hunting and would set the bird free to beat the prey with their wings and peck at them till the animal fell to the ground dazed. Other animals that the Persians trained for hunting were wild animals such as lions, leopards, tigers and panthers. These animals, “because they were too big to carry on Horseback, were carry’d in Iron Cages, on an elephant” (182).…

The clouded leopard does not roar like other big cats, nor does it groom or rest like small cats. The cheetah is unique because it is a running cat; all others are leaping cats. They are leaping cats because they slowly stalk their prey and then leap on it. (http://facts.randomhistory.com/interesting-facts-about-cats.html)…

The Cat Dissection lab consisted of various procedures ranging from skinning the cat to performing the likes of a brain surgeon in cutting it's brain out, but there were three major questions focused on when conducting the entire process. They included muscular differences between humans and cats, teeth and dental structure within the cat's mouth compared to a humans, and the third being the differences between a human's fingernails and the claws of a cat. These three questions provided the goal for the dissection of the feline. The interesting thing about felines such as this specimen Felis Catus is that even though it is a four pawed animal it also retains many of the various features humans have.…

Their fast, and very skilled; although lions are the ‘King of the jungle’ the cheetah, is more fitted to catch their prey. Of course, nearly all big cats hide in the tall grass (if you’re picturing them in the Savannah) they wait for their prey, patiently. The one thing that help the big cats’ survival skill are their patience. Since, big cats have big appetites, they wait among a large crowd of deer, buffalos, etc. When their prey isn’t aware (know that when the big cat approaches, their prey will notice, but then settles when can’t see the big cat) the big cat strikes and attacks. Honestly, I think that this move is most advantageous, considering they must literally chase them down. For the type of animals they are, I think it’s method of hunting is great, because it’s a large crowd of animals, so when one section hears and walks away, there’s always another section…
