I had worked extremely hard all offseason, the hardest I had for baseball in my whole life. I got to the point where I felt I couldn’t prepare myself anymore for the upcoming season. I was able to control the three pitches I wanted and was throwing the hardest I ever had. Through all these thoughts I heard my coach tell me to go warm up. I jogged down to the bullpen and began to toss with the catcher. After I had warmed up I began to pitch. I threw my first pitch right to the catcher's glove and knew that all the offseason work I had put in would pay off and I would dominate the opposing team. After I had finished warming up I went and sat on the bench to look at the opposing team’s pitcher and talk to my teammates. Ten minutes later and it was time to take the field for the first time. We jogged on to the field and began to warm up and prepare for the game. I threw seven more pitches and knew I was ready for the game. The first batter walked up to the plate and dug in, I got my sign from the catcher and began my wind up. I released the ball and it began flying towards the plate. The batter swung and fouled it away. I got a new ball and then got another sign from the catcher. I started my wind up again and released the ball again this time the batter swung and connected. I saw the ball soaring through the sky towards the outfield fence, it continued towards the fence and
