Personal Narrative: A Career As A Physician's Assistant

Ambitions and goals are pathways to accomplishing the standards of humanity. Who we are and what we do matter only when we identify as a “somebody”. I have always aimed to be in the healthcare field however, never understood exactly what it was I saw myself step into. Graduating high school was easy it was like daycare before preschool, easy and simple. The real life had begun and I did not know what I was doing, I started off with attending the nearest community college for two years. There I changed my major eight times only to find myself back to biology. Stressed and high off of the rush of my own adrenaline I sat down one day and began my research. Eventually I discovered this unique new name, never had I heard of before called Physician’s Assistant.
My dream was to become a doctor and help people give out to society and make a mark, I had to be someone with authority. Lack of knowledge and guidance I fell prey to my ignorance and gave up.
