I would love to be involved in sports every day, and 24/7. Since this moment I wanted to be the one to call the name of athletes that hit a home run, or score a touchdown.
Since the regional game and leading up to that game, I have learned a ton about sports. Although I want to play sports and broadcast them, I also need to worry about schooling and the classes I need to take to achieve sports broadcasting. I will have to take speech and language classes. I have learned to work with people and leadership. Before I can have leadership, I have to support my team no matter what. Its also important to stay positive. When I get frustrated I can’t show them I my frustration. I can communicate to my teammate and in the future with my co- workers.
In order to keep in sports, I have to keep practicing to get to know everything about the sports. I also watch other people to see what they are doing to learn different points. Until I can get to this job I have to practice hard so I can learn different points myself. I also have learned things from my coaches and teammates. Practicing and playing different sports have helped me be more flexible. It's also taught me to be more prepared with my time. These will help me when I have to give a report or find information.
I think that sports broadcasting would be the perfect job for me. I have been in sports my whole life, and I’m very interested in sports. I want this to be in every day, job for me and 24/7. All the knowledge I have will, come in handy later in life when I am announcing the sports news. I think will be a lot of fun to bring my enthusiasm and love for sports to everyone by reporting

In the beginning of the semester, I got the opportunity to meet Michelle Gingas from Fox Sports Network and TampaBayLightning.com. I had the chance to hear her story of how she became a sports broadcaster. In the process of starting her career, Gingas studied journalism at Loyola University and quickly found her niche in sports broadcasting. Gingas knew at a very young age that she wanted to do something that allowed her to interact with people on a daily basis as well as try and leave an impact on someone or make a positive difference. Gingas also loved how sports brought people together and loved the passion they brought out of her, so she tries to communicate that same passion she felt with viewers when she is covering a sport.…

It all began with a simple phone call one night after dinner. “Joe,” my father hollered up the stairs, “it’s for you. It’s Jackie, and she sounds upset.” As I came downstairs to pick up the phone, I was not happy. I was tired and had looked forward to a nice and quiet evening at home, not another stupid adventure with Jackie.…

As I hear those words that I most deeply despise come out her mouth, it quickly led me to think that this woman did not know what she was talking about. Before she had said these words we were talking about our favorite sports and she said hers was basketball and I told her mine was baseball. “Baseball is boring to watch,” she said. Hearing someone say this about my favorite sport that I have been playing throughout my life irritates me and it brings my attention to wonder why people find this sport boring. People similar to this woman, believe that baseball is a boring sport yet they do not realize that it is actually one of America’s most exciting sports!…

One sport that got my eye was baseball my senior. I love the feeling of having to be out on the on the field saying nothing but chewing gum or spitting out sunflower seeds. Having to make quick actions that can win or prevent the enemy from scoring. Having to go up to bat I always had a game face. If I took a swing and would miss I would close my eyes in failure to ashamed to look at my coach and team. However if I had got a base hit I would run not looking anywhere but to the base…

Deciding to let him win in front of the parents, or shatter his confidence was tough. The entire team went out onto the field knowing that I would hit the ball for the reason that it was impossible to strike me out. I let him throw the first strike, and swung and missed on the second pitch. The parents joined in the action and cheered him on, with the hopes of seeing an elementary school kid strike out a high school baseball player. During my off season from soccer, I plan to be a sports commentator for ESPN or to open up my own personal training business. This will help me to make more money and allow me to continue to work after I retire from professional soccer. I would like to eventually be asked to commentate for the women’s FIFA world cup. If I do not follow through with my main plan because of injury or loss of interest, I would like to go to college solely for a degree in business and sports education. After graduating from college, I would open up a full time personal training business for soccer teams. There I would be able to teach many young players the game of soccer and help them to perfect their…
