At my age, few people can genuinely claim that they have had a life-changing experience. And after a morning jog one Saturday morning, I became one of these fortunate people. Spending countless weekends in the park down near my house, I’ve always enjoyed jogging around the river the most. It’s probably because the river runs through the edge of the park, where the old trees act like guards, muffling the sounds of the city around them. Or is it because of the woman? The one who always sits at the water’s edge as I run past her. She always seems to be deeply engaged in something by the water.
