One moment in particular stuck out to me from this adventure. We had been driving all day when we stopped at a convenience store. The cashier looked relatively close to my age and as she bagged our cool pops, I struck up a conversation with her. These simple instances of life are what I find the most intriguing.
This girl, though fascinating me, presumably looked on her life as far from interesting. I like to think we all look at our lives and deem them dull. The opportunity to connect with those who think they lack diversity and acknowledge their individuality ; That is what I anticipate the most as I embark upon college next fall. Though I believe I am far from diverse, I may be diverse in someone else's
eyes.
