Personal Narrative: Dixie State University Dance Team

I was born in a small town, some people may call it American Fark, but I know it as American Fork, Utah. I lived in American Fork until I was 7, then moved. My family and I have lived in Santa Clara for 11 years. There're four people in my family, I am the youngest of two girls. This last year I graduated from Snow Canyon High School, there I was on the High School Drill Team; Eshelles for three years, and the last two was a team captain. I am lucky enough to be able to be a team member of the Dixie State University Dance Team. I found my passion for dance at a young age, and couldn’t seem to ever give it up. This is my first year attending at Dixie State University, as a Freshman. I’m eager to start my new adventures here at Dixie State.
People ask, “what are you majoring in,” my answer to this is Physical Therapy Assisting. When I’m finished with school and training I hope to end up in Silverdale, Washington working at my
Uncle's private practice.
My counselor recommended Human Development Across Lifespan to me. Instantly I was intrigued with the sound of it. I have taken a Psychology class in the past and learned similar things. I hope to learn more in depth about the development of human personalities, and why we act the way we do. I also hope to learn more about young children and the way that their mind work. I look forward to being in this class and the opportunities that will come along with it.
