We’re made up of our prior experiences - good, bad, and ugly. They carry with us and teach us important lessons throughout our whole lives. So, instead of “going back to square one”, I believe that we simply move forward to square two, and three, and so on and so forth in our lifetimes. Minor setbacks are simply progressions to the next square of experiences, as opposed to regressing to a prior version of ourselves.
