I came home this summer from college realizing that I no longer joked around or expressed my sense of humor with my friends like I used too. My belief that I needed to be this well-put together New Yorker led me to grow up too fast and lose my youth. There is nothing wrong with making jokes, having fun, being spontaneous, or laughing too loud that people look at you funny. He continues to tell jokes; some might not be funny (I am able to say this statement because I, too, tell the same stupid jokes). He is not afraid to have fun with his family and friends. My dad might be one of the most spontaneous people alive. I remember for my spring break in second grade we decided to go to Washington D.C. to see the monuments and museums, but on the way up we stopped at the caverns. Then, we decided to go to the Baltimore Aquarium before going into the city. After the aquarium, I was really tired and fell asleep in the car. My dad woke me up after a good while; I looked out the window and we were at Niagra falls. We ended up visiting other places and never even made it to D.C. His spontaneous adventure is one of my best memories. He is able to keep his youth while being grown
