I don’t think that I am falling behind and I am definitely on top of my stuff. One thing that has really worked for me throughout this course, is writing down the exercises. While learning our midterm combinations at the barre and center, I wrote all of them down so that I could remember them when it came time to perform them. By doing this, it has allowed me to focus on the details of the combinations instead of trying to remember the combinations. This has also helped me to perform the combinations to my fullest potential instead of acting like I’m lost. The corrections that I have been given throughout the semester so far include: making sure that I am getting my tendu’s and dégagés fully behind me, engaging my lower abdominals, and reaching my heels down when coming up from a grande plié. I have taken these few corrections and have applied them to the best of my ability. I know that there are times that I slip up and forget about it, but doesn’t mean I have forgot all about
