I feel the opportunity, the environment, the experience and the exposure at University of British Columbia will equip me with added knowledge and enable me confidently go into the world of business, work and create employment, lead and inspire others for a better country and a better world.
My major in commerce will help me run and administer my company and I believe that my company will take off and after a few years I will have enough savings to venture into other businesses and diversify investments. I would like to become a venture capitalist later in life because I believe Africa has ideas and unlimited potential and all that’s needed is funding to convert ideas to cities.
I lost my Father a few months ago and I feel that he would have survived had he had better access to healthcare. One of my personal goals is to make a difference in the healthcare system in my country and I plan to do that through developing healthcare applications that link the patients to doctors through cell devices and the doctors are able to offer consultation services. This will improve healthcare conditions in my community and country.
