Personal Narrative: My First Foster Family

he car rumbled and bounce on the highway, and the sound of wind passing the car howled loudly. When I thought it couldn’t be all bad that I actually might come back to the family. It had hit me that the person I had lived with for 10 years is gone, no one to look out for me except for state custody. Then I had started to see the foster care building as I began to cry, though I was scared, I knew that this moment, which happened when I was 11, I would no longer have an permanent family to live in, and that I would always be going to foster to foster home, That memory has always remained a part of my life.

Family

I am in foster care with a family that is very nice to be and means a lot, which I haven’t had in a long time. I live with a
my foster mom who’s name is Debbie Ratner, and two sisters their names are Shelby and Cheyenne, They also I one other foster kid his name is Randy. I moved in with them 4 years ago Its been the longest time I been in one home since I was a little child. They can be crazy at times, mostly every day. This family is one of a kind, if it wasn’t for them, I would probably not be in this school right now. When they had taken me in, I wasn’t expecting much thinking it was going to be no different from any other. However, I soon realized that I was there a lot longer than other homes, so I decide to try to make it home for the time that lasted.

Interest
I have many interests; one of my biggest ones has to be sports. I love watching sports, especially baseball, but I watch other things like football, basketball, and UFC. I have an interest in owning a business, sometimes I actually do research on what it takes to own a business. There are many interests I have, but me doing you tube is probably my biggest one; I’ve been doing YouTube videos for 2 years now. I just love making videos about video games, my foster mom says I good at it and might get, but I just do for fun. Me doing YouTube videos help me learn how to be outgoing, and talk to people, that is the main reason why I love doing it so much. I also have an interest in skateboarding, but I can’t do that much because, you can only do when it’s warm unless you’re crazy enough to do it in the cold.

Childhood
I was born into the world from a mother who was only 15, her name was Robyn, she was also a kid herself, at that time she was not ready take care of a kid, so she gave me to state custody.
Shortly after that I had got handed to a great family, and they had adopted me when I was 18 months years old. I had live with this family for around 10 years, they had 7 kids, I was the first adopted, Then one day something bad happened to them I was put in foster care. The first foster family I was in was in junction city I was there for 2 years for those two years was harsh, mainly because she abused me, cause of that she got her license taken away. Then somehow I got ended up in a foster family that lived one block away from the family’s house that adopted me, I could not stand it. I started to get violent do to all the stress and things that had happened to me over the years, for that they put me in a PRTF. Shortly after I got out of the PRTF I had met my foster family Debbie
Ratner.

Conclusion

I have lived a pretty hard life, but not all things have been bad for me.
I am living in a stable home with great people in the meantime. I love to do YouTube, along with sports and other activities, in addition to watching sports. For about half my life I have been in foster care, some bad, and some good. I do hope in the future that I own a business someday. Overall my life has not been the best, but as for now it’s been pretty good, and I hope to see more good things come my
way.
