Throughout middle school I spent countless hours playing with different programs and helping friends build their computers. It was a cold November night my mother dropped me off at the hotel all the recruits were required to stay at prior to the flight. We hugged and I told her I’d see her soon if she squeezed any tighter I thought a rib would snap. The next day I arrived in San Antonio Texas to my first military experience. My nerves had my legs shaking getting off the bus that’s where I met my first supervisor MSgt Hudson. Although I was a stoutly built guy 5’7 190lbs this man was about 6’2 180lbs but his energy and voice was enough to destroy any of our strategy to get through the next 8 weeks.
