run-ons. After receiving the definition essay I was surprised on getting a 42/50 because it was long that I haven’t received a better letter grade like this one. As the semester ends I have realized many mistakes regardless my writing and reading. I was really impressed after seeing the total points I received in each “Thesis or Focus” of all my RD1. On the first RD1 I had received a 3 which was (inadequate) and on the second I had 4 as well in the fifth and last RD1. What I didn’t really like was always getting circles in (adequate) because that meant that the writing style was clear but at the time was unclear. Most of my mistakes in writing essays are easy to find after reading it the first time which was something I was not used on doing when finishing an essay for different classes.
2) My second moment was reviewing the first class letter on January 12, 2016. After receiving my letter explaining myself what I need it to learn in English 101 before taking English 102 has showed me that I had a problem on writing. I realized I had lots of mistakes like instead of writing “thesis” I wrote “these” rereading my letter has revealed a relationship between what I read and write. My reading level is where it has been, but my writing isn’t exactly where it should. I was really surprised that I got to see right away the mistakes I made. On the first class letter on January 12, 2016 I wrote “which why I think professors give up on me” on the last sentence of the letter, as in today I would want to change the last sentence to “teachers won’t give up on anyone”. The reason why I would want to change that sentence because now I believe that there are some professor like Olivia that believe that a student can accomplish his/her goal. This letter had brought my attention in many ways because after reading each sentence I wondered why I wrote small sentences changing every topic. I decided to make corrections on most of my essays to see how many mistakes I made at the beginning of class. In other words, the letter made me feel different because after re-writing the letter I felt like if I was reading someone else paper.
