defined by the number of wins. Rather, success on the court and in life is not definable at all but realized from within. Only each individual can every truly determine their own success in whatever that may be. My success may not be another’s however, the family, the team, the club, the group, the organization can realize success with validation of the positive collaboration and synergy that is a function of simply being a member of the group itself.
My leadership experience has prepared me to encourage and motivate others into understanding that we all must embrace the responsibility of being change agents in the world. Therefore, no longer can we either individually or collectively simply go through life with the luxury of failing to pay it forward. Hence, I will work to empower my college campus to stop turning a blind eye to what needs to be done to save our planet, to ensure everyone has clean water to drink, enough food to eat, and access to quality health care. More importantly, in today’s world, the denial of a these basic human needs is just as egregious and compelling as the denial of the inalienable rights our ancestors fought and died for. Thus I will work to become a leader on my college campus so that I can help to educate the campus community to championing the need to end world hunger, and ensuring access clean water and quality health care. Elevating these concerns so they become the common goal of all students will ensure the success of a better world for generation to come.
