As I felt myself retrieving my gun from my jacket I stopped as I realized the only way to get my sister back was to get caught. And with that I threw myself to the ground, hitting my head on a nearby rock. I hear muffled voices surrounding me as I stumble to my feet. As I’m getting up I sense someone walking up to me. Just as my vision clears, I see a shadow coming towards my face. I felt a balled fist make contact with my jaw. I feel the blood vessels burst in my bottom lip as I fall to the ground. My breath instantly left me for dead as I felt their foot collide …show more content…
with my stomach. I swear I heard a cracking noise ricochet between my ribs.
I feel myself being dragged across the cold wet grass by my arms. I hear the muffled voices of men but I am not able to make out a single word. When we came to a stop a bag was placed over my head and my hands were cuffed. I felt myself being lifted and was thrown into the back of one of those military trucks.
About an hour or so has passed when I felt myself being jerked up and dragged out of the truck. As the bag is being ripped off me I feel pain rush to the back of my head as I’m thrown to the ground. I look up I see the governors main guard; I look at him with disgust and spit at him. Almost instantly I receive a blow by his fist to my head causing me to black out. As I’m coming to I hear an all too familiar voice.
“So, you finally found her.” his voice echo’s through my mind as I saw flashbacks of when he shot and killed my family in cold blood and when he dragged my sister away. Noticing my lack of movement he starts to talk to one of his guards.
“Is she dead?” He asked with fear in his voice.
“She ought to be Sir. She’s coughed up quite a bit of blood.”
“Good. In about twenty minutes bring her to me; I want to see the look on her face as she watches her sister get torn limb from limb by my dogs.” He says as he gets back into his car and drives off.
I open my eyes to someone reaching down to pick me up. I grab their hand, pulling them down and pinning them to the ground. Climbing on top of him I grab his gun from his belt and point it to his face daring him to say a word. Lowering the gun I begin to dig into his pockets finding the key to the cuffs. Quickly un-cuffing myself, I pistol whipped the guard knocking him out.
Hearing the sound of foot-steps I quickly duck down behind the truck I arrived in. Noticing that one of their guys is knocked out they all take cover. Looking at the nearest guy to me, I aim and take my shot. The sound of the gunshot cracking into the air gave me so much pleasure. Watching the bullet crack into his skull and seeing him fall to the ground put a smile on my face. Then from the corner of my eye I see someone running up to me. Without giving it a second thought, I shoot him in the chest. More men coming from my left and right, I kill them all one by one. Taking the truck I leave the bloody mess.
Driving I see the governors car up ahead.
Almost instantly the second I get out I see him holding a young girl by the neck just smiling that crooked smile. Realizing that young girl was my sister, I take out my gun and aim at the governor.
“Let her go of her or I will shoot.” I say calmly.
“You wouldn’t dare, not with your sister in the way.” He says as he laughs me off. I can only grin as I take my shot and shoot him in his knee cap. My sister runs toward me as the governor fall to the ground screaming in pain. I can only laugh as I walk up to him.
“Extinguish the poor, Extinguish the sin. There shall be no abomination in this empire. Isn’t that what you said before you killed my family?” I ask as I drop to the ground pushing my knee into his neck. His eyes widen in fear as I point the gun to his head.
“You are the only abomination that I see.” With that I pull the trigger and I feel his warm wet blood splatter all over my face. I look up to the sky and scream in pleasure. It’s over and done. We can all live peacefully now that he’s
gone.
