fire trucks, then my dad came home and said, “Kids mom is no longer with us” as he began to cry. My dad then told us to get in the car so we could go down to my aunt house to sit with her, while my dad went back to see what else need to be done at the accident. While sitting at my aunt’s house my dad came back and told us that my uncle also didn’t make it and he began to explain what happened. He told us that as my uncle was driving around a turn the belt broke on the car, he lost control, the car flipped 3 times, and hit a tree. He also said that my mom had been thrown from the car and didn’t die right away, but my uncle died right away, he didn’t suffer. After that all my family showed up at my house, and then we had a funeral for my mom, she was cremated and uncle had an open casket. My teachers from school came one teacher even sang at my mom’s funeral. After the funeral we all went back home and tried to return to our normal lives but life without my mom is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I finally returned to school and tried to be normal again. Later on in my life when I was about 13 years old I asked my dad about the accident and what really happened to my mom, he explain that she was injured very bad and while she was laying on the ground she passed away and went to heaven with my uncle. He told me that he got my mom cremated because he wanted us kids to remember my mom for the beautiful woman she is and he didn’t want us to see her like that. Going to my uncle’s funeral with him lying in the casket was the scariest thing I have ever experienced, I never seen a dead body and that was very hard to see him lying there motionless not saying one word.
