Personal Narrative: My Locker
It was dark, cold and silent. I went back into the building for my cheer shoes i left in my locker, i felt people staring but i know the only thing looking at me was the silent emergency lights at the exit signs. When i walked i felt someone walk behind me but it was only the sound of me not picking up my feet. When i finally got to my locker i couldn't open it, the number turned into letters and i started to panic in even a faster pace, Got it! I snached my shoes as fast as i could and slammed my locker, all the noise went back to a windy black silence.

I didn't want to walk all the way back out into my car. I stepped away from the locker with my bright white cheer shoes and i walked, i walked and i walked. I walked faster and faster until

A search of Mr. Mike McBride’s locker located at the companies on site fitness center is permissible. First and foremost, the instigation of the search is being conducted on reasonable suspicion. In Alabama v. White the court stated that “reasonable suspicion can arise from information that is less reliable than that required to show probable cause.” (Rutledge, 2011) This reasonable suspicion is based on the various comments Mr. McBride made during his exit interview. Secondly, Greenwood Company has a legitimate business interest in the protection and recovery of their intellectual property. Finally, the locker provided to Mr. McBride was owned by the company. While many people may point to K-Mart Corporation v. Trotti as basis to not search…

    1. I choose to 5S my backpack because it had been causing small annoyances in my everyday life. For example, I would spend an unnecessary amount of time looking for a writing utensil, my keys, or wallet. This became a problem when I needed to find these items in a hurry. I also had trouble finding papers (and nametags) I needed in the main part of my bag, because there were many unlabeled folders and papers scattered around.…

I stood up and walked down the stairs to the court. The team and I went to the locker room like we always do at the end of the third quarter of the girl’s varsity game. Our opponent? The number one team in the state of Kansas, the Hanover Wildcats. With only two seniors, our team had a record that you don’t exactly brag about.…

I was a camp counselor at Camp Wabikon ‒ a co-ed overnight summer camp located in Temagami, Ontario for children who are 6-15 years of age. Along with teaching Red Cross swimming and lifesaving and Tennis, I was my cabin's 'parent' for six weeks. Therefore, I was present with the children at all times. In essence, I was the leader of my cabin's the physical, social and mental development. The main things I learned were the importance of time management and organization , as I had to plan lessons for swimming and Tennis while taking care of my cabin; conflict resolution between campers; and the ability to plan and foresee events (I had to plan camp-wide events and activities for all campers).…

As I got out of my bed I Felt a cold bitter bitter feeling. So I walked slowly and calmly to the bathroom. The last thing I remember is falling asleep during a late night rerun of the Twilight Zone. So when it happened, it was especially eerie, like I had stepped into a lost episode, but Rod Serling was nowhere in sight; for moment, neither was anybody else. At 4:31 AM a merciless shove pushed me off my bed. I crawled on the floor, trying to escape the cruel, uncontrollable shaking, but it followed me. It followed me down the stairs and underneath the dining room table where my family joined me. Little did I realize that before the morning sun rose again, I would see everything differently.…

Have you ever imagined of a room that sent such a good vibe that you thought it was too good to be true? Well, that is how this lunchroom was. When I walked in the first thing I say was the bright lit faces of the john Adams middle school students.Their faces were so astonishing that it but a big smile on my face. The poster filled walls were a bright baby blue with a hint of green. The tables were stunning. The colors were so remarkable that they were almost blinding. The pillars that stood high were covered with flyers of all colors. But the best thing of all was the smell coming from the cafeteria. It smelled like fresh pizza out of the oven. But what they were serving was much better than pizza, it was cheesy bread sticks. As my waiter…

There’s an overwhelming sense of fear. It is as if there were eyes watching me. I begin to get out of the bed. I’m going to open the closet but I don’t want to. I know something bad is going to happen. But I open the door and there’s nothing, but it’s too dark to actually see anything. I lean further into the closet. It’s colder in the closet than in the room. I feel a hand pull my hand off the knob and drag me further in. I fall and I keep falling. I don’t stop falling till I wake up, and it gets colder as I fall. I feel my blood freeze in my veins. It's like the dream’s…

I headed to my first class which just so happened to be my favorite subject, English. The hallways were very wide but when filled with students I felt like I had to shove my way through just to get to my locker. The lockers were a mixture between Gray and purple. The school colors were supposed to be purple and silver but there was no way that these lockers could be considered. I took a look at the little piece of paper that the lady in the office had given me and tried out the combination on my locker. It took me about five minutes to open it and after struggling for that long I was a little irritated so when it did open, it flew open and slammed into the locker next to mine. I held my breath and hoped that nobody had noticed. I took a long deep breath and slowly opened my eyes again. Luckily I was still standing alone and nobody around was looking at me. I put my extra books and notebooks into the locker and and closed it as quietly as I could.…

Libraries are more than a quiet place to read a good book. The Carnegie Library has been an influential place throughout the conscious years of my life. Tired, with a headache, and not in capacity to maintain my eyes open, I remembered next day was Halloween, which was the last thing I remembered before falling sleep. I woke up and saw the watch, it was three o’clock a.m. I listened to a weird sound that came from my closet; it was soft, but I could hear it like a rat scratching the walls. Intrigued about what was happening, I woke up and walked towards the closet. The sound gave me the chills.…

The last thing I want to be doing right now is walking down my driveway in the cold at 7 am. My breath is swirling in circles in front of me. The wind gently blowing against me and sends shivers throughout my body. The fresh dew on the grass was shimmering under the morning sunlight. The smell was fresh and crisp and smelled comforting to me. My mom peering down on me to make sure I was safe at the bottom of the driveway, her eyes never leaving my sight. I rolled my eyes because even though I was old enough not to have her watch me, she did it just incase.. I start thinking about what Disney Channel said today was going to be like.. I shake away my thoughts, I hear something coming from down the street. I listen to the sound closely. It gets louder and louder and louder until its right around the corner. A car flies past me. I sigh with relief. I look back to see if my mom is still waiting, of course she is with her coffee pressed to her lips, then I turn back around to see the school bus slowly coming to a stop in front of my driveway. I took my time walking to the bus, then get on it and take a seat. I say hi to my friends on the bus and then plug my headphones in. I could smell the perfume from some girl on the back of the bus and see two girls bickering in the seat in front of me. Then it really hit me, today was my first day of high school.…
