Ever since then, I have been on a horse at least once a week for the past thirteen years. All have taught me valuable lessons. I have learned to be fearless and to strive to do my best and that occasionally, it is not always about winning. But most of all, riding has taught me how to form unbreakable bonds with amazing people. In the past year my former barn, Braebern, was disbanded. Everything was advertised, including the horses I had grown to love. Soon enough, it was time to say goodbye to some of the best girls I had known. We all found new barns and trainers and parted ways. That was probably one of the toughest moments of my life. Together we took lessons, did barn chores, and grew as riders. We knew each other like the backs of our hands. But it was during that experience that I acquired my first horse, a thoroughbred racehorse, named
