Personal Narrative: My Visit To The Auburn J. C. Penney
I visited the Auburn J.C. Penney on April 19. When I walked in I was not greeted by an employee of the store was very congested and very busy to the eye. I walked around to see what the store had to offer and a few employees walked by me and did not say anything to me. Overall the service that I got from this story was very disappointing to me. I did not get talked to at all from the employees in fact they were all chit chatting with each other. They seem to be unaware of the customers. Granted this was close to closing time and they where getting organized for the next day. I have been in the afternoon morning and have had great service.
I checked out the clarence area of this store and found that it was very unorganized. They had all of the clothing sizes mixed and it was hard to find what you wanted. They also had to many clothes on one rack. When you try to look through the cloths it is heard to push the one you are done looking at down.

The kitchen appliances are put on these racks that look very inexpensive and makes their products look cheap. This part of the story is also very hard to navigate it is just a few rows crammed in a corner and very crowded. The home department is in a different room then the rest of the store I feel like it is almost hidden. When you go it is very neat and clean this room may be the best part of the store even though there was no one to help me in there.
For the best customer service you have to go to the jewelry department. They alway say hi to me and ask if i need any help. I have a ring with the Care program on it and they have always been really good about sending my ring out and getting it fixed. They give me options of a buy out or getting my ring back if they can fix

Burlington Coat Factory is not what I would call an aesthetically pleasing store. The fluorescent lights are almost blinding, the signs above the racks of clothing are incredibly plain, the displays don’t all match; Burlington Coat Factory is not the place to go for a relaxing shopping experience. But just because it doesn’t share the same aesthetic-oriented goals as retail establishments like Starbucks, doesn’t mean it doesn’t design its stores to best serve its customers. In fact, the plain, warehouse-like layout of the store is exactly what its target customers want. Burlington shoppers want to save and they want to know exactly what they’re saving. This is why Burlington Coat Factory has designed the layout of its stores and the displays to focus on the type of deal the customer is receiving and exactly how good that deal is. Burlington Coat Factory has also designed its stores to cater to its two main types of customers: shoppers looking for brand names at lower prices and more value-oriented shoppers who disregard brand names for low prices.…

Most of what I saw where long term customers who had grown up on JC Penny stating how much they liked the stores. I did see very few responses to customer’s complaints or questions on Facebook. The company also had a list of sponsors on the right that they must be receiving funds for placing ads on their web page.…

We always make sure that our customers come first. We are here, thanks to them. It is because of them that we offer an excellent customer service, especially to those who shop online. We always strive to look into the different complaints and questions within 12 hours after they have being presented to us, since the time zones between us and the various customers we have might be…

If I went to MICA High, I would definitely try to be Stargirl’s friend. Since I have read the book from Leo’s perspective, I know more about Stargirl than anyone else in MICA High. I have read about her room, her office, and her personality, and I know that she is someone that I would like to have in my life. She constantly cheers you up and changes your life for the better. She’s simple, yet complicated, in a way that makes you feel enlightened. This is a person that I would love to befriend. However, barely anyone at MICA High appreciates Stargirl’s unique personality. I believe that they are much too hard on her She doesn't deserve all of this hate.…

Asking me to pick only one problem with Anderson Indiana is like asking an artist to pick only one problem with a painting he’s painted. Anderson exactly have a clean or dignified town. It’s actually quite dirty, dull and boring. There’s dogfighting cops, a prominent meth and heroin problem, and i know about 4 kids shot and killed just this year, the list goes on. Personally I don’t walk anywhere here because It’s so risky. Aside from all the downs our town is relatively aesthetically pleasing, we have quite a bit of wildlife although we’re so hectic. But the potholes, discarded trash and needles, and the amount of abandoned houses take it down a few levels.…

On our trip to Cedar Glen, I learned numerous things that will benefit me in the future and assist me in making crucial decisions. One of the things I learned is group dynamics and working with other people. My group participated in various activities, such as logs and marshmallows, which taught us that we shouldn’t just focus on ourselves when completing a task, but also everybody in our group. In both logs and marshmallows, our group made sure each person reached the other side instead of just themselves, which the reason why we accomplished the activity is that we worked together as a team. I also learned that in a group, there could be people who lead a task, maintain a group, or focus on themselves. In low ropes and high ropes, we learned…

I live in DeMotte with my Mom and Step-Dad. My real father lives in Ohio. I only get to see my actual dad three times a year. I see him in fall, spring, and summer. Obviously, I saw him this summer, and this time I was staying with him for a week. This was the first time I stayed this long at his house before. Although he lives in Ohio, and is only two hours away from Sandusky, he’d never experienced Cedar Point either. We didn’t explore the roller-coaster portion of Cedar Point, we went to the smaller segment called Cedar Pointe Shores. That’s just the highlight of the trip, though.…

The holiday season, a time meant for the celebration of chilly weather and cheerful greetings, is perhaps the most celebrated time in America. Each year, millions of high school students embrace the promises of the holidays as an opportunity for rest, relaxation, and freedom from the confines of scholarly pursuit. I, being one of many students weighed down by the stress of finals and academia, eagerly anticipated my holiday break that would begin the second week of December. For weeks, I planned out what I would do with my abundance of free time so that I would enjoy each day to the maximum capacity. I resolved to travel to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where I would experience the scenic snow-capped mountains, bustling village towns, and adventurous…

During my visit to Georgia Tech in the summer of 2014 I learned a lot about the Engineering program and life on campus. The part that caught my attention was the Internship program. After graduating I strive to become an Aerospace Engineer at one of the many aviation companies. During my tenure at Georgia Tech, I intend on pursuing an internship with Bombardier in Toronto. This will allow me to acquire the necessary workplace experience for the field in advance while also working towards my Masters in Engineering. The lifestyle I saw during my visit was very different from what I am used to seeing in my hometown. No matter what your interests are there will always be a group of people there to support your endeavors and support you at…

I remember how when I first walked into a fraternity house on Vanderbilt's campus, I immediately thought that this was a place that I could never belong. Having a disability and identifying as gay, I thought that I had somehow faked my way into Vanderbilt and its perfect society. After a few months, I ended up feeling like I belonged at Vanderbilt more and I began to realize that there is no "perfect" Vanderbilt student. As I have become more involved in the Vanderbilt community, I have always looked for roles and activities that would allow me to make Vanderbilt more welcoming for others. Therefore as a resident advisor; I work to host programs that spotlight areas of campus that are not always given the credit they deserve. For example, my…

Furman University was the last college I visited on a four-day whirlwind trip to six colleges in North and South Carolina. The sense of community I felt from Furman was unlike any of the other colleges I had visited; it captivated me just as I was losing all interest in college tours. As I drove onto campus this summer with my mom, I immediately felt something was different about this school. It made me feel like I was home. The kids we saw were all walking with friends and seemed exuberant, though they had decided to spend their summer vacation on campus doing research or taking classes. The information session and tour of the campus solidified my feeling of being part of a community because as we walked the campus our tour guides seemed to…

About two weeks ago on two different days 11/28 and 11/30, I decided to visit the LongHorn restaurant at the Toco Hills location, since LongHorn happens to be one of mine and my families favorite restaurants. I figured that I would go there while on lunch. On the 28th, I placed my order at 7:05pm online, to have it picked up at 7:40pm, and I also paid and tipped online (I will never either again). I wanted to give them more than enough time to have my order ready and I did not want to waste my entire lunch waiting for my order. When I arrived at the restaurant a little after 8pm, my order was not ready. There was someone working to go and the bartender seemed to be pretty busy, I gave them my name and was told that it would be ready shortly.…
