Personal Narrative: Private Rant
Private Rant
I was pretty irritated this morning when I was making my way to school on the bus and it was extremely crowded with obnoxious, intolerable, smelly passengers, once again. I had to stand up until, finally, there was an empty seat. As I went over to the seat, a filthy stench of dirty diapers and unwashed socks smothered my nose.
Some people might say that’s your bargain for a fee of only three dollars, but I think public transportation is probably one of the worst experiences you want to encounter. I hate it!
One of the many drawbacks from taking the public transport is waiting for another 20 minutes at the bus stop because ol’grandpa took six minutes to get one foot on and another six-point-five minutes to get the other. Not to

If you aren’t standing you’re either over sixty years old and someone generously stood up for you to sit down, or you’re sitting next to a five-year-old child that keeps eating Doritos chips and accidentally dropping bits of pieces on you.
Now after you’ve been on the bus for a while and there are finally empty seats available, but there are always those pinheads who choose to sit right beside to you. Why? I have no idea, but it’s completely irrelevant, infuriating and frankly, it’s an invasion of personal space.
At the end, the moment you’ve been waiting for, your last stop arrives; a joy of happiness sparks. You make your way to the front of the bus, bumping into at least twelve different people on the way, and you finally step out. The only thing that doesn’t make this a Happily Ever After story, is that you have to walk another two blocks to complete your journey.
This is public transportation everyone, maybe it’s time you start saving up for your own car.

In fact, Taylor took it a step further and even “donated” $250,000 over the weekend. Bravo Taylor! The rich giving the rich some money that they can more than afford. Sounds like our government. How generous.
I can't help feel Taylor could've donated that money to a much more deserving cause such as a homeless shelter, children's charity, international non-governmental organizations, or educational services. I think Taylor needs to consider Ellen’s or Orpah’s worldwide charitable efforts. There are various individuals who could've benefited from that life changing amount, rather than a pop star who is already in possession of virtuous amounts of money. This seems like one of those “Rich People Problems”.
Sorry Kesha, but the $250,000 would have been far more beneficial to an abused woman's shelter who are in desperate need of money to leave their abusive relationships than someone trying to get out of a million-dollar record contract.
How is $250,000, quarter million dollars, meant to aid someone overcome an alleged rape anyway? I'd say Demi Lovato has it spot on about ol' Swifty when Demi attacked her for not speaking out on the issue and suggesting the donation was only to 'further her

The bus is crowded; it is hot outside and there is a discontent silence as a pungent smell diffuses. People plug their noses, hold their shirts up to their faces, grimace; anything to express displeasure and attempt to mitigate the smell of aged sweat and vomit mixed. The silence is suddenly interrupted by a lady who loudly declares to the friend sitting next to her that someone on the bus smells awful. The source of this smell is sitting near the front of the bus and is now silently staring down at his taped together shoes, hunched over as if to hide his face from view. He is wearing too much to be comfortable on this warm day, as if he is wearing the only set of clothing he owns. Salt stains line the collar of his shirt and the distinct…

My stop was in downtown, so I walked out. I was puzzled. Who were these strange people? I sensed the divide between me and the bus passengers socially, culturally, and physically. Ultimately, there was nothing in my past experience in my high school environment that could prepare me for the bus ride, which made me feel awkward and tense. I became conscious of my mannerisms and how I carried myself. For once, I felt like a stranger.…

As we slow to a pause I comprehend the importance of finding a seat before another onslaught of eager people pour onto the bus filling in all available vacancies. I know the entire world has heard of the famous pop star, Britney Spears. I am sure many would not think of her as a tragic hero, but with little research she you will find that she is in several ways. As a young girl Britney was introduced to the All New Mickey Mouse Club TV show when she was just 11 years old. In 2000 she reached the top of Pop charts with an instant hit “Oops, I Did It Again”. Although she was not born of Noble Birth or elevated status, she was born with incredible talent which brought her great potential as a singer and song writer. Britney has earned a net worth of over $200 million dollars which more than half is due to her amazing singing career.…

Another way to address to issue is by increasing the number of our employees who take public transportation. Presently, 54% of our employees use public transportation. This number is surprisingly high. However, it could be higher. A company with the size of ours could have a lot of influence on the local public transportation. Therefore, we should negotiate for good prices for weekly passes and better routes to benefit our employees. Also, the company should cover the cost of the weekly passes. This has the potential of 100% of employees using public transportation. Currently 28% of our employees never use public transportation. Nevertheless, this could change very soon.…

When you are early, the bus is late. You rush to the stop, puffing like a steam train, then find yourself waiting for half an hour in the winter cold, as your nose gradually become a large red balloon and icicles hang from your ears. At last a rusty old dinosaur with your number on the front lumbers into view and pulls up at the stop in response to your frantic waving. You drag your frozen limbs on board and pay your fare, fumbling the icy coins at the driver drums his fingers on the wheel and sighs in annoyance at your pathetic slowness. The when you think things couldn't get any worse you are then ripped of with an adult fare when your only 15. As soon as the ticket is dispensed, before you can so much as grab a pole to steady yourself, the bus lurches forward with a roar, sending your bag bowling along the gangway, as you crash headlong into an elderly lady's lap, knocking out half your teeth on her shopping trolley.…
