I was pretty irritated this morning when I was making my way to school on the bus and it was extremely crowded with obnoxious, intolerable, smelly passengers, once again. I had to stand up until, finally, there was an empty seat. As I went over to the seat, a filthy stench of dirty diapers and unwashed socks smothered my nose.
Some people might say that’s your bargain for a fee of only three dollars, but I think public transportation is probably one of the worst experiences you want to encounter. I hate it!
One of the many drawbacks from taking the public transport is waiting for another 20 minutes at the bus stop because ol’grandpa took six minutes to get one foot on and another six-point-five minutes to get the other. Not to …show more content…
mention, when he drops his change and takes an additional five-point-five minutes to bend over and pick it up. Then at least another two minutes to get them in the paying meter.
And even when you do make it onto the bus, you have no choice but to stand.
If you aren’t standing you’re either over sixty years old and someone generously stood up for you to sit down, or you’re sitting next to a five-year-old child that keeps eating Doritos chips and accidentally dropping bits of pieces on you.
Now after you’ve been on the bus for a while and there are finally empty seats available, but there are always those pinheads who choose to sit right beside to you. Why? I have no idea, but it’s completely irrelevant, infuriating and frankly, it’s an invasion of personal space.
At the end, the moment you’ve been waiting for, your last stop arrives; a joy of happiness sparks. You make your way to the front of the bus, bumping into at least twelve different people on the way, and you finally step out. The only thing that doesn’t make this a Happily Ever After story, is that you have to walk another two blocks to complete your journey.
This is public transportation everyone, maybe it’s time you start saving up for your own car.

Apparently, last week a New York judge denied the 28-year-old “TiK ToK” singer, Kesha’s, request to break her contract with Sony Music Entertainment and her former producer, Dr. Luke, whom she accused of sexually assaulting her. Since then, Female artists including Lady Gaga, Lorde, Grimes, Lily Allen and Kelly Clarkson have publically supported the pop star.
Surprisingly, Taylor Swift also joined that list who contributed support to help Kesha cope with her legal troubles.
In fact, Taylor took it a step further and even “donated” $250,000 over the weekend. Bravo Taylor! The rich giving the rich some money that they can more than afford. Sounds like our government. How generous.
I can't help feel Taylor could've donated that money to a much more deserving cause such as a homeless shelter, children's charity, international non-governmental organizations, or educational services. I think Taylor needs to consider Ellen’s or Orpah’s worldwide charitable efforts. There are various individuals who could've benefited from that life changing amount, rather than a pop star who is already in possession of virtuous amounts of money. This seems like one of those “Rich People Problems”.
Sorry Kesha, but the $250,000 would have been far more beneficial to an abused woman's shelter who are in desperate need of money to leave their abusive relationships than someone trying to get out of a million-dollar record contract.
How is $250,000, quarter million dollars, meant to aid someone overcome an alleged rape anyway? I'd say Demi Lovato has it spot on about ol' Swifty when Demi attacked her for not speaking out on the issue and suggesting the donation was only to 'further her
brand'.
It is time our modernized society needs to look at the bigger picture and eliminate tunnel visions. There are bigger, GLOBAL issues at hand that are far more worthy of aid and consideration by not just Taylor Swift, but the world; you just have to look and see for yourself.
