outside because I love the outdoors and all in it.
I like interacting with adults and even children because it is nice to talk with people, and that was one of the major reasons for my career choice as well as the fact that I enjoy watching HGTV.
Houses just intrigue me, and I love the idea of looking inside of homes. The structure of a house is cool to notice, and examine. I took a couple of career surveys, and the results were teaching, giving advice, helping and being of service to people, architecture and construction and human services. Okay, so you’ve guessed it! My career choice is a real estate broker. There couldn’t be the better career choice that corresponds to all of these surveys. Real estate brokers involve teaching because when you tell the buyers features of the home, you are teaching them and also giving advice, human services, and being of service to people. Architecture and construction relate to a real estate broker career because without the construction, there wouldn’t be houses to
sell.
I created a set of goals so I could reflect my progress towards reaching my goal. Because I can’t make one goal for ten years from now, and wait to accomplish it until then, I made short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals. My short-term goals are for this year, and they are: get first honors every marking period, complete this project and discover more about the career that I want, and ask someone in this career about it and what they like about it. The next four goals I made were for my entire school career: get good grades, possibly go to votec, decide what career I definitely want to do, get accepted to a college that will contribute to the career path I want to take. Some of the last goals I have are the ones that are going to take me into my career: graduate from college and earn a degree, get a starter job that will add something to my record, get a job as a real estate broker, be able to support a family or even myself.
