It was here, that I was spurred towards releasing myself and embracing the liberty that we actors are privileged with. Here, I was not only incited to go beyond my physicality but to rise above the fear and to live in the truth of the moment. By means of exploring through a multitude of vocal and physical exercises and in-depth character analysis, I was instructed on fusing together the crucial elements of voice, movement and acting to assist in the greater conveyance of character. From performing in director Tom Moriarty’s short production of Waiting for Change at the Citizen Theatres to completing a two-week run at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival – I have discovered my passion and made my commitment to strive towards excellence.
After having worked both as part of a team and individually, I have accumulated an array of skills including excellent research and interpersonal skills, which would prove indispensible to me for the study and analysis of my work. My approach is constructive and collaborative; coinciding with my ability to manage criticism and balance my study commitments alongside classroom assignments.
Despite my once horror of public speaking, my insatiable thirst for knowledge and my evolution as an artist has motivated me to keep on growing, climb higher and overcome this obstacle. I am most eager than ever to harness my artistry and develop a proficiency in performance. In my pursuit of excellence, I consider it my utmost compulsion to do just
