This day started towards the end of a fall night. The time of year where, if there weren’t clouds, then it would be that orange-red color and the sun acting like it is playing hide and seek with the horizon of the earth. This day was not a clear day, in the distance, approaching from the west, a storm was coming in. My dad and I were fishing in one of the local ponds, watching the lighting in the distance popping of like a war just a few miles away. All you saw was bright flashes about 30 seconds apart. I went around telling everyone I knew about what I had saw in that past day, week, and even month. It wasn’t just something that was beautiful it made me think, when I was standing there for those few minutes, all I was thinking on how much I loved the outdoors, all the elements an beauties that is sitting right in front of you, all it takes is someone one to pay attention. Even a poor man can afford to pay attention. Also how good, as a human, I had it. I’m not say my family and I have so much money that we can buy anything we like but we aren’t not poverty stricken countries. This made me be more humble and change the way I acted when wanting something I would like instead of something I needed. I’m not saying that bolt changed my entire life, but it did make me think about how I acted and me realize how I’m glad to have what I have. It was just amazing and eye opening. I hope someday I can see this again but it wouldn’t be the same as the first time. Also, when I know a storm is coming in and starting to shows itself, I go outside and crave to see that bolt once more. The great outdoors have, and always will be a part of my life. I wouldn’t know what to do without
