On the second day we went on a trip to see all the different types of grass and wildlife. The grass was so tall that all I had to do is crouch down and no one could see me.
On day three we went on an hour hike, where we could see all the types of weather formations in nature, I was so amazed and overwhelmed by what I saw all around me, I was just mind blown. so I just wanted to learn more about the world around me, and learn about how to survive in nature. …show more content…
After words we went on a nature hike and walked for what seemed to be hours discussing how to read the terrain and how to use self reliance.
Well, if there is one thing that I learned from that day it's that whenever we have really good warm weather without a cloud in the sky, then there's gonna be rain.
Then on day five we gathered at a lake where we went kayaking, and fishing, but I only caught a frog.
Later we ate our lunch and I actually socialized with other people! After that we went on a tour on the edge of the lake. Even though it was our last day being on the week long trip we had a lot of fun and had a good time.
What I learned from these experiences was how to live off the land and survive, and it was there that I learned common sense, like fire is hot! and sharp pointy things hurt! and that having a little “gravity check” was not the best thing, yeah, I learned from my mistakes, and I made a lot of mistakes! but overall I had a great time and had a some
