Personal Narrative-The Equinox And A Mountaineer
A few years ago I found myself in the market for a new vehicle when the one I had drowned. I had two children living at home and one on the way. I knew I would need a larger vehicle to accommodate a family of what would be five. I went to the auto dealer and narrowed it down to two vehicle. An Equinox and a Mountaineer. Then I made a pros and cons list. This was a very stressful time. It was a considerably large purchase that I wanted to make sure was going to be everything I needed at the time. The cost of insurance was higher than the Equinox. And it’s a Ford! I haven’t had much luck with Fords in the past. The end result of the conflict was me purchasing the Mountaineer. I absolutely love it. I know it was the right choice because I could never see myself in a smaller vehicle now. Since purchasing my older daughter went to live with her dad and I am living with my two little ones which means it is just three of us with lots of room for packing things to go to the beach and enjoy the

Quite a few car manufacturers have created models similar to this mid-sized truck but still the Chevrolet Colorado LTZ with Z71 suspension and four-wheel drive is the biggest bang for your buck when it comes to smaller trucks. Many individuals say the truck is almost worthless when it comes to being an actual “pick-up” truck. Some say the cab and/or the truck bed is too small, others will tell you that the 3.7 liter engine is just plain silly when it comes to torque and horsepower. Then again, there are people out there that will tell you that all of those things can be put to great use and that just because the truck is small does not mean it is at all worthless.…

I felt the stock of my bow while I was sitting in the blind. Frost had already began to form where I rubbed it off seconds ago. I looked through the small window at the everlasting snow. “Wait, was that a deer moving along those trees?” I asked myself. It looked more like a kangaroo making its way through the snow. I could barely stand up in the cold. I pulled back, ready to take the shot.…

The trail continued around the east side of the lake entering a gathering of trees forming an insignificant forest along the lake’s shoreline. From our viewpoint, the trees concealing the trail eventually dispersed on the southeast side of the lake, and the trail blended into the landscape. Using our imagination, we envisioned the route against the rugged terrain sloping into the lake. No point in taking a vote now, we had trekked to the lake and the consensus was to proceed with a lap around the lake.…

As a student I find myself seated in front of a computer screen for long hours at a time; likewise, it is my obligation as a student to use technology as a resource to further my comprehension in my degree. In my opinion a good excuse to be seated in front of a computer for long hours. It is easy to say that I find a lot of inspiration form online sources, blogs, and social media – which I do – however, I feel most inspired when I step away from the computer screen. I find inspiration in the ordinary; I love to travel and see new things, in this case this is where I found my inspiration. Along my travels to Whistler Mountain in previous winters I saw a portion of land that was clear-cut, but one tree stood alone covered in snow. This piece…

There has been many cases in which I have helped an outsider feel welcome. One time in particular is when I played tag with this little boy at church since he was new and no one else played with him. Originally, I was outside eating candy and talking to my friends at church. I noticed that this little boy was standing all alone watching all the other little kids play without him. I thought that maybe he was upset so I went over to him and asked if he wanted the rest of my gummy worms. He seemed nervous at first, but eventually he started talking to me. I learned that he was five years old and he was visiting his grandparents for the weekend. His older brother was outside playing basketball with some of the other older boys at the church, and…

Convenience and comfort will surely be second on your list of car accessories. Of course, both kids and the parents have these as their concerns. Flexible seating is one good car feature. It would help you accommodate different kinds of passengers. Accessories like built-in booster seats for elevation and to properly use the seat belts. A second row center seat accessory for younger kids is also recommended to make them slide closer to the front seats where mom and dad are seated. And, in case you would like to invite friends and relatives for a ride, you can install additional seating which folds when not in use. This will make your family car more flexible both to passenger and cargo situations. Furthermore, car organizer is also a must…
