Many more cops still at this moment killing black American. This case with the cell phone footage was overwhelming incriminated. The time the District Attorney took to prosecuted and sentence the officer it said more about police brutality. I can stop thinking how many more events like this happen and never we knew. When the officer asked if they had any weapons on them the man said yes. He never made a move toward his gun however the officer got a little worried an panicked and shot the man two time in the chest. What I think he should have done was once the man said that he had a gun he should have asked the man to step out informing him that he was not under arrest and that he just doesn’t want anything bad to happen to the both of them. As soon as the man gets out of the car he should have pat him down and got the gun off of him. That way he continue to go about his job without having to worry about the man pulling the gun out on him. The officer ended up getting charge with Manslaughter as which he should have because I don’t believe he handled that situation very well.
