why not call my Grandma and Grandpa and see if they know anything about the Stamp Act… they are like One Hundred years old! So I decided to call Grandma Josine and Grandpa Joe, the phone rang, and rang, and rang again until Grandpa finally answered. “Who is this?” Grandpa Yelled into the Phone, “It’s Emily” I replied, “Oh! Hi Emily! Why did you call me?” he said delightfully, “Well Grandpa I just wanted to see what you knew about the Stamp Act..?” I said hoping that he knew at least a little bit of information. “Well my Grandpa told me about how his Grandpa’s Grandpa’s Grandpa’s Grandpa was born around the time of the Stamp Act I believe his name was Charles, If I’m correct my Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather family was very, very, very mad about the Stamp Act.. my Grandpa told me how Charles’s family was always screaming ‘No Taxation without Representation!’ Jim’s neighborhood in Boston was just a mess.. I believe he lived near the tree John Oliver’s Doll was hanged! Anywho.. that’s all I know! Anywho I gotta go, Bye!” And before I could say Bye back to him.. he was gone. “Wow” I thought.. “What an interesting man Jim must had been, I wonder what would have happened if I was in Stamp Act times?” I started day-dreaming about how I would be the person who started the Daughters of Liberty, everyday me and the other Colonial Girls would go out and protest against the Stamp Act, After thinking about it more I realised that the Colonist really had a hard life.. and the Stamp Act was another part of it.. I mean if you Supported the British you might end up like John Oliver, I wonder how Jim was back in Colonial
