So sorry I didn’t write sooner, it has been quite hectic trying to adjust to being on my own in such a large, unfamiliar landscape after the transition to America from Germany. I have been searching relentlessly to find a place to work but it has been to no avail. It is said that New York is a city of opportunities and dreams but for a poor jewish man the only dreams are the ones I have while sleeping on a filthy, torn mattress in a shoebox of an apartment.
