Believe me, there is no better way to spend time with your family than travelling to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida for a holiday. Most people think that Walt Disney World is a place for children, this cannot be further from the truth. Whether you’re a kid, a teen, an adult or a senior citizen, a vacation to Walt Disney World will be one of the best vacations of your life.

clear to me that some of my most favourite memories took place at Walt Disney World.. Every day, every night, every minute, every second I was at Walt Disney World, I was overjoyed. It turned out to be a place where everyone in our family was able to enjoy themselves, be amazed and relax. My family, like most, struggles to find time to complete all the day to day tasks but most importantly, finding time to spend together and with each other. At this stage in our lives our family spends time together, we live together, we even share the same bathroom. In reality the time is not always what I would call “good time”. Even though all the time we share together isn’t necessarily “good time” it makes me cherish the time I get alone it is still great to get away to do fun things with the people you love. That is what the Walt Disney World trip was for us.
My dad is very busy on the farm. My mom is very busy, preparing lessons for school, cooking and cleaning . I am very busy with school work, a part time job, helping Dad with his firewood business and my volunteer activities. My sister is very busy! She is four and she keeps the rest of us on our toes. It’s not like she’s bad, she just well, magical in the way she can transform a clean room into a sticky, obstacle course of toys and craft creations. I swear if a burglar broke in, he’d break his neck before he could get out with any valuables. Thanks Sis! Our vacation to Walt Disney World helped us to reconnect to each other. We were able to see each others individual interests. This photograph was taken at The Magic Kingdom Theme Park. This was by far my family’s favourite theme park. It had something that we each enjoyed, Brenna meeting Mickey and Minnie, Dad the cronuts, Mom the 60’s dance show and the Space Mountain ride for me.
There were times when we waited in long lineups that rattled our nerves, only for the thrill of a scary nerve wracking ride.
Like anything you take the good with the bad, the great thing about Disney is that the good, outweighs the bad by tenfold.
While at Disney I was able to hang around with my parents and they were completely relaxed; usually they are as busy as bees around home and more than a little stressed. My Mom was humorous and goofy as she laughed and told silly stories about her recollections of Disney and stories about her as a kid. My Dad teased and chuckled as he pretended to be the various Disney characters for my little sister. If others glanced toward us they would have seen a sea of smiles. The days spent on our Walt disney world vacation were heavenly, it seemed as if the clouds sailed across the sky.
A family vacation at Walt Disney World allows you to truly let go of your day-to-day responsibilities and issues. It allows you to just enjoy the company of your family while being entertained to the maximum. Whether it was Dad screaming his face off on the Drop Zone, Tower of Terror or my little sister’s eyes as big as saucers when she meets the famous mouse couple. It was all good, very good!. Everyone was happy and everyone was content, and not one of us has forgotten this fabulous family
trip.
