As a Latina and a First-Generation student I have adopted the mindset that nothing in life is easy if it’s worth having. It was from Mrs. Conner that my desire to become a Nurse Practitioner emerged, like her; I want to be able to efficiently assess, diagnose and manage the care of my patients.
