Personal Statement: Deciding To Return To School
Hello Professor and fellow students.
Deciding to return to school was not a choice for me, but a requirement. I’ve wanted to further my career for years. Life happened so I had to put school on the back burner. After having children and pushing the importance of education to them I knew that I had no choice but to lead by example. I want them to know that it’s possible. Being a leader in my house and at work I have always lead with the motto “I’ll never ask anything of you that I have not done or isn’t willing to do myself”. Staying true to that I’m here and ready to thrive.
Once I have obtained my degree I want to put it to good use. I worked death row for four years and I did enjoy it. However, my lifelong dream was to be a cop and eventually
