Personal Statement On Determination
My goal is what sets me apart from other candidates because I am a determined person. For instance, when I fail a test, I study continuously until I pass the test and get a satisfying grade. For example, I had failed one of my AP Spanish Literature test and I decided to ask my teacher, Mr.Contreras, if I could retake the test, gladly he did allow me to retake it so, I studied constantly and passed the test with an A. I set personal, academic, and career goals by knowing where my limits are and working around them. If someone says I can't do something, and I haven't tried it before, that just makes me more determined to prove that someone wrong. If I fail,I always keep trying. I believe that success is reaching my own personal dreams. I'm not
done with my dreams, but know that I have been successful so far because I've worked toward my goals regardless of the negative comments that I receive from other.
