Based off of the questions that were asked during the recent survey, my top five strengths are Activator, Relator, Strategic, Communication, and Adaptability. Going into this survey, I thought I knew what my main strengths were. Come to find out; I was right for the most part, but I have a few more strengths than what I thought. Adaptability and Strategic are new to me, now to figure out how to use them.

Not knowing the technical words of my strengths, I have always known that I am an Activator, Realtor, and have great Communication abilities. Seeing that I fall under the categories of Strategic and Adaptability, I will now be looking to utilize these strengths every chance I have. Adaptability means being able to adjust to new things,

Focus group meetings will allow the entire workgroup to communicate amongst one another and express their thoughts and concerns about their job or tasks they have been assigned. If one disagrees with something they have been assigned, a one on one should be called. This private meeting should be used for the supervisor to get to know their employee on more of a personal level. Digging into their strengths and weaknesses, supervision will see where they should be placed in order for them to succeed and produce the best quality of

Not to mention, it will bring more of a family feel to the relationship between the workgroup and their direct supervision. Having the sense of a family, the workgroup is more likely to work better as a whole and follow instructions from their supervisor with no questions or worries.

I believe there are several benefits to having a strength-based organization. Some include knowing that employees will be assigned to their specialty, work will always be performed with passion and quality, business decisions will be made efficiently, leadership and communication will never be forgotten. Those are just a few of the items that I can personally speak of and directly relate to the so-called strength-based company that I am employed

One advantage is when working in a team everyone’s strength and expertise can be utilized and responsibility can be distributed. (Goodman, 2015) Typically, teams are formed by the expertise of each person that is need to get the job done. As the world famous Michael Jordan quotes, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.” Another advantage according to Frost (2015), the sense of security and support a team creates may encourage employees to take more risks. Sometimes when working on a team project, that extra boost or knowledge transfer from other team members can lead to relationships that would benefit the team. When you have multiple people working on a project, this allows for many checks and balances to catch any mistakes or missing information that later can hurt the company. (Frost, 2015) Many customers and business partners may find it easier to communicate with a team rather than a number of individuals working in isolation. (Nordmeyer, n.d.) There were traits and suggestions that were found in several of my strength areas. For instance, several strength sections mentioned the fact that I consult the experts when necessary, and the fact that I allow individuals with more knowledge of certain skills obtain leadership at different periods. I am certain of this to be true because I have developed a self-awareness that allows me to recognize when I am not competent in certain matters, and to seek out support. Planning along with organization, and maintaining order was also found in several areas of my result. These three traits were found in numerous of my strength areas. Additionally, being diligent and verifying information was another theme, and so was being industrious. Sequential thinking and performance were common themes as well. My five core strengths were, Relator, Input, Analytical, Developer, and Command. I’ve had many different job experiences in many environments. My very first official job was a clerk in a nutritional grocery store. I would be in the store just cleaning or stocking when a customer would come in, most of the time they would have a question of where to find something or what they should buy. I truly believe in this situation it was best that I was a Relator, when people are vulnerable with you it takes an open mind to help them. As customers came in and told me what they were going through I needed to be able to put myself in the shoes of the customer and sympathize with them to be able to speak directly. Being a Relator I was always able to stop…

I gave this paper a lot of thought before I began to write. "What qualities and traits do I posses that make me desirable as an employee, a teammate, and as a person?" First, you must be able to identify your own personal strengths and weaknesses in order to become a lifelong learner and an essential part of a "team". As technology is constantly growing you have to be willing to accept what makes you an asset or a liability in any given situation you may encounter in your life. The qualities and traits that I feel make me a valuable entity to my employers, co-workers, classmates and within my personal relationships are varied. I will go on to describe some of the attributes I think are most important in establishing and maintaining successful relationships whether personal or work related.…

On my first assessment, my top five strengths were empathy, harmony, consistency, restorative, and includer. This was not a surprise because I love having connections with others so I expect to have more relationship based strengths. Yet, this time around my top strengths were restorative, positivity, harmony, input, and responsibility. My initial thought was that I had lost empathy and consistency, and I had become a horrible person with no human emotions. However, after much consideration and speaking with others I realized that empathy and consistency were now my number ix and seven and that everything happens for a reason. However, I was happy and excited to see an increase in executing and strategic since my last strength assessment.…

Three of my strengths include: being extremely organized, being a people person, and being able to multitask. These tasks would benefit me as an Executive Committee member, because I could pass these traits onto other members throughout the chapter. Chapter members look up to EC as role models of the chapter and hopefully inspire to be like them. With these strengths, chapter members would hopefully understand that being organized is extremely helpful for college, you need to be able to communicate appropriately with different kinds of people throughout your life and being able to multitask can help you get through your tasks quicker than if they had not multitasked. I feel as a member of EC that these strengths would be extremely helpful and I know I would also gain other strengths from my fellow EC members.…

When considering what my “purpose” is, I had a hard time narrowing down what exactly it is that I live by. It’s a tough question to answer, especially since there are different branches like your academic, career and personal purpose. I had to question who I am and who I want to be. Academically I want to get my master’s in Marine Biology, career wise I want to become a Marine Biology professor, and personally I want to be settled in a house I built; with a husband and kids. My overall purpose however, is to feel fulfillment and success in everything that I do.…
