Persuasive Essay About Boating
Personally, I think boating is one of the best things that someone can do to have fun, be outside, and just get your mind off of things. It is really fun just to be out in nature and hear all the birds singing, the trees moving, and the water splashing. Boating just puts you in a whole other world. Not only is it fun just to cruise around, but also do water sports too. There are many different things that you can do when you go boating. You can Wakeboard, ski, tube, air chair, knee board, slalom, etc.. My personal favorite thing to do is wake board. Wakeboarding is so easy once you figure out the basics, and it is really fun. I got up on my third time trying a few years ago. The very next day, I was already jumping the wake behind the boat!

One to Table Rock Lake, and one to Mark Twain Lake in Missouri. Every year I always look forward to these trips. We go with a lot of friends and family that mostly all have boats. We all go to the same resort and have an amazing time. I think Table Rock is probably the most fun to go to. We like to go to these cliffs that hang over the water, and we jump off of them every year. There are 4 levels. A small 10 foot cliff, a bigger 20 foot cliff, a 35 foot cliff, and the biggest that we call a box cliff because the cliff is formed into a perfect square is about a 40 foot cliff. There is even a rope swing that we like to jump off of. While we’re there, we tie up our boats and just chill and jump off the cliffs. My uncle makes the best salsa ever. When we get ready to go boating, I can’t wait. I wake up the next morning at like 5:45 to get everything ready. On the way to the lake, I’m constantly asking how long until we get there. When we finally get there, I’m out of the truck getting the tarp off the boat and getting everything ready to get it in the water. I don’t know what I would do if we didn’t own a boat. I love to wakeboard with friends and laugh when you hear a loud whack and look over, and the rope is dragging with nobody on it anymore. It is really funny when you look back at them and they give you that man-that-really-hurt
