Have you ever noticed the number of kids that don’t make our sports teams? In my opinion, I think we should have more after school activities for middle school. We learn so many different sports in gym class, so why can’t we play some of those? If we can play them in gym, we can play them at school. And not every kid is gonna be good at science olympiad, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and cheer. Lastly, we have very short electives, why can’t we have more clubs, like art, or music.

Like some of us aren’t math genius’s, or good at science. And the four sports the school offers have so many kids that don’t make the team each season. That has to tell you that not everyone is going to be good at those things. They should offer a club for art, music, technology, and etc. Mr. Lindquist has a game club every Friday, so I don’t understand why we can’t have more of them. Lastly, we have very short electives every day. We have exactly 42 minutes each day for our fourth hour electives. That’s not a lot of time compared to our other classes. And that 42 minutes includes going to our lockers and walking to our next class. We only have one trimester to take that elective, and we aren’t allowed to take the same elective twice. For example, in Rossetta stone, you don’t get enough time to learn the language. The point of this letter was to let you know that we should have more activities after school. We don’t have many sports, especially the boys teams. So keep in mind that we learn so many things in gym so we can probably use those sports. Not every after school activity fits everyone’s likings, and lastly we dont have very long elective time. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, and I hope you can get back to me with a solution or a response
