Animal cruelty is not only the horrific things that are being done to the animals, but it also includes not properly taking care of them. According to an article in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Debbie Jugan states “Most of the laws against animal cruelty can be summed up in one phrase: common sense. It is simply common sense to take care of the animals we human beings keep captive. They must be provided clean, fresh water on a daily basis.
