John F. Kennedy once said, “There is always inequality in life. Some men are killed in a war and some men are wounded and some men never leave the country. Life is unfair.” The notion of having equality across the country will not be achievable, because there is not a group brave enough to take it into motion. Some may think future generations have the ability to make equality flourish across the nation, but others say that everyone is raised to learn certain beliefs of multiple races that are not true. The New York Daily Newspaper states that most people living in poverty are citizens with colored skin. According to Algernon Austin, who was interviewed by the writers of the newspaper said, “the ratio of black unemployment to white has hardly changed over the decades. Black unemployment has stayed at two to two and a half f the white population since the 1960s.” The quote shows how it does not matter how many years people attempt to effect the future, because the chance of a major change is miniscule. The presidents of our past made laws against segregation, but slavery has taken a new form. The next piece of evidence will show how the problem has grown into something worse.
Due to the way society is today, people will continue to think of themselves as superior to everyone else based on their race, and will continue stereotyping and making horrible assumptions on others in a lower state than them.

Yes, there is a document that is critical to America’s history which states all people are equal, but civilization will always chose a different path than the one which was chosen for them to follow.
