Along with physical difficulties abortion also causes depression and mental illness. About 5% – 30% of women feel regret, anxiety, guilt and minor depression. These women must consult with professional therapist to help them cope with their stress. 28% of women have attempted to commit suicide. Many women are so shocked with their unplanned pregnancies that they are often persuaded by others to terminate the pregnancy. This is an irrational decision that causes unhappiness. Many women say that if they would have had the choice to do it over they would keep the child.
ADVICE:
Abortion is an unsafe decision that rids the life of a living child. I hope that I have shown you through the history of abortion, and its physical and psychological effects that abortion is wrong and will never be the right thing to do. A mother with an unplanned pregnancy can carry a baby to term and adoption is always there as an option. Abortion stops a beating heart. It’s not an option; it’s a baby.

Abortion is a term used for the termination of the pregnancy by removing of the embryo or the fetus from the uterus of a woman. The abortion takes place in two ways. Wade, 1973 ruled that laws banning abortion were unconstitutional. Since then, groups supporting the right to abortion (“pro choice”) and groups against abortion (“pro life”) have continued to have ideological battles over which argument should be the law of the land. However, a woman is best capable of deciding whether or not she is able and willing to care for a child. Thus, she should similarly be able to decide whether or not she wishes to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.…

Many agree that abortion is wrong because you are playing God as you are taking the act upon who can live and who cannot. The fifth commandment is ‘You shall not kill’ and by killing an innocent unborn child you are no better than a murder. The Roman Catholic Church believes that life begins at conception and that it is unacceptable in all situations. Jeremiah 1:5- ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you’ killing something you already know would break the unique connection that a mother and their foetus have. The Church of England believe that a foetus is God-given life so should be protected, if you then kill the unborn child you do not respect God and therefore think you are better that him.…

A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion.
