How else could you learn to get better if you didn’t practice? Practice is there to build your skills and get better at anything you practice on. To me the best part of practices are two-a-days. When you spend all summer being lazy and not having anything to do and then come into that 100+ degree heat workouts. Nothing better than seeing people getting sick or out of breath. Running all those sprints to get back in shape. Trying to fight all the cramps and sores that come with the workouts are fun because you never win. That is why before practices start you must first conduct some stretch routines. Stretching before practice only helps you out. It helps keep you from producing injuries. Homecoming is a game for alumni to come home and enjoy a game with the rest of the community. Homecoming is usually the only game I watch now-a-days. It is the one game the stands are so packed that if you don’t get there early you are standing the whole game. School is usually let out early and there is a big parade. The whole town gets together for a day. During half time of the game a homecoming queen is crowned. (Some towns/communities might crown their homecoming queen at a different day.)
