Persuasive Speech On Friday Surgery
I first spoke with Mrs. Tracy James, the wife of Anthony James who is the patient, on 10/23/2017; she came to my office while her husband was in with Dr. Wright for an office visit. She commenced by saying that her husband was a diabetic patient and was having a problem with the bottom of his foot. After several months of seeing Dr. Wright for this problem, they did not want to believe that Dr. Wright would keep Mr. James coming back just for the $262.00 each visit. However, Ms. James said she now believes it was about the money. She said they cannot continue to pay $262.00 each time for a follow-up visit and not get to the root cause. For, his treatment plan had been going on since November to no avail. Mr. James entered the office and joined …show more content…
James proceeded to tell how his most recent appointment went with Dr. Wright. He explained Dr. Wright came into the room and was not very friendly. According to Mr. James, Dr. Wright proceeded by saying what brings you in today? Mr. James replied with I am here for a follow-up visit before my surgery on Friday (10/27/2017). Dr. Wright answered you are not on my book for Friday surgery. Mr. James replied, why? Dr. Wright said you were removed; you cancelled for Friday. Mr. James said I have been waiting almost a month for the surgery. Mr. James said Pam called and said if you don’t come in for the follow-up visit, you can’t have the surgery. Mr. James said I don’t want to cancel my surgery. Mr. James said he could not afford keep both appointments prior to surgery because he planned to use the cost of the office visit toward the cost of surgery. Mr. Wright said Pam told him that Dr. Wright does not see patients for free. He said Dr. Wright backed away from him and removed his gloves. Dr. Wright told the patient that is not what Pam has in her notes. Mrs. James said Dr. Wright did not defend the patient’s explanation. Mr. James said Dr. Wright told him that we really need to clean the foot today (10/23/2017); we can’t get you on the books if the foot is infected. Dr. Wright told the patient he does surgery twice

He has also discussed the allegations with Harrison who denies having any type of drinking problem. He requested Harrison not perform any procedures until he gets evaluated. Where the Incision is Located Inframammary incisions are the incisions that are made in the breast's bottom crease, where the chest wall meets the lower protrusion of the breast. You will probably be instructed to wait at least 2 to 4 weeks before getting back to doing upper body exercises if this is the location of your implant. In the meantime, you should not lift your hands over your head during recovery. When you minimize the stain on this part of your body, it will result in healthier healing which is discrete and the scar is easily hidden. Thank you for your informative post. You stated “Health care providers, allowing illnesses to worsen, rather than taking care of the issue at the time could potentially lead to a rise in health care cost due to unnecessary doctor visits and care for further complications.” I agree with your statement. The longer health care providers allow patients to suffer without surgery can cause the patient to visit the doctor unnecessarily because of pain. The unnecessary visits could cause an increase in tax and health care for individuals not insured by Medicaid.…

The Legislative Branch consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives, which is called “Congress.” The Legislative Branch (Congress) alone has the power to declare war and make laws. The House of Representatives has specific powers the Senate does not, including the power to impeach government officials, impose revenue bills, and to elect the President in the event of a tie in the Electoral College. The Senate also has exclusive powers, including the power to ratify treaties and accept appointments made by the President. However, these powers are limited in that the House of Representatives must also approve the appointment of the Vice President and any treaty that concerns foreign trade. Recently, the Senate has confirmed many Cabinet appointments made by President Trump. This includes Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and Secretary of Defense James Mattis.…
